DUI Victim Impact Panel
Our DUI Victim Impact Panel is conducted live and is designed to meet Washington State Victim Impact Panel requirements. You may attend in person at our Port Townsend location or online via Zoom — the panel runs at the same time either way.
The panel addresses the emotional, physical, and financial impact of impaired driving on victims, survivors, families, and the community. The panel also includes education regarding alternatives to drinking and driving, drug use and driving, and other unsafe impaired-driving choices.
Schedule
Panels are generally held on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Occasionally, panel dates may be adjusted due to holidays or scheduling conflicts.
Advance registration is required. Late entry is not permitted.
Cost
The cost to attend the DUI Victim Impact Panel is $40, whether you attend in person or online via Zoom. Payment is collected through the registration form below.
Attendance Requirements
To receive credit for attendance:
- You must attend the entire panel.
- We must be able to verify your identity and attendance throughout the full panel.
- If attending via Zoom: your camera must remain on for the duration of the session.
- If attending in person: please bring a valid photo ID and arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Participants who leave early, cannot be verified, or are disruptive will not receive a certificate of completion.
Participants may not attend while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Certificate of Completion
Following successful completion of the panel, a certificate of completion will be emailed to the email address provided during registration.
Please ensure all registration information is accurate, including your full legal name, date of birth, court information, and email address.
Washington State Requirements
This panel is intended to comply with Washington State Victim Impact Panel minimum standards, including:
- Education regarding the impact of impaired driving on victims and communities
- Discussion of alternatives to impaired driving
- Presentation by qualified speakers, including victim survivors
- Minimum presentation time requirements
- Attendance verification and recordkeeping requirements
Before the Panel
If attending via Zoom: please download Zoom prior to the panel and ensure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are functioning properly. We recommend logging in early.
If attending in person: please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the panel begins at 3051 West Sims Way, Port Townsend, WA, and bring a valid photo ID.
Late entry is not permitted for any reason, in either format.
